Tre anni fa

Nearly three year ago I received this luxurious and precious skein by Francine aka Startare when she came to visit Torino and we personally met each other. Only last week I made a ball from the skein and started this wonderful  shawl.

I must confess that I'm deep into my recurring crocheting mood, and I can’t find a way out from this addiction. It’s like an obsession but I think it gives beautiful results.

Happy with the smooth yarn and a wonderful pattern, I’m ready to hook the next forlorn skein!

Dopo il nebbione di ieri stamattina salgo sul tetto senza grandi aspettative se non quella di trovare uno sfondo ed un po’ di luce per fotografare l’ultimo pezzo all’uncinetto appena finito. Ed ecco la meraviglia! Un saluto al sole speciale, un risveglio dello spirito e del corpo.

Yesterday it was so foggy that this morning, when I went up the roof to take pics of my latest crocheted shawl, I didn’t have high  expectations. And here is the wonder! A special greeting to the sun, to awaken the spirit and body.

OrtoLana – 25-26 Settembre 2015

Anche se un pochino in differita, ecco le foto dell’installazione OrtoLana, ideata dalle donne ai Ferri Corti, in occasione della manifestazione Filo Lungo Filo presso il Villaggio Leumann a Collegno.

Le immagini parlano da sole! Posso solo aggiungere con orgoglio che c’è stato un bellissimo contributo alla produzione anche da parte del nostro gruppo del Knit Cafè Lingotto, e che i frutti dell’orto ed i frutti di cuore di Maglia si sono sposati con grande gioia e soddisfazione!

PS: personalmente rivendico la produzione di fragole, peperoni, castagne e zucca verde

With some delay, here are the pictures of the OrtoLana installation, designed by Le Donne ai Ferri Corti, for the Filo Lungo Filo event at the Leumann Village in Collegno. The images speak for themselves! I can only add with pride that there was a great contribution to the production by our group Knit Cafe Lingotto, and that the fruits of the garden and the fruits of the heart got married with great joy and satisfaction!
PS: personally I claim the production of strawberries, peppers, chestnuts and the green pumpkin!
