Noi oggi abbiamo sguazzato in un mare di colori e morbidezza, e tra tante meraviglie è stato difficile scegliere ... ma non abbiamo dubbi, torneremo presto!

Add to your navigation system a fundamental POI = point of interest. Let yourself be guided to a nice little house surrounded by green, ring the bell, walk through the porch and feel like Hansel and Gretel in the house of marzipan! Knitcircus - Issue #5

Knitcircus pubblicherà il mio basco rinascimentale, sono così contenta! Ora le spiegazioni sono disponibili anche in inglese. La rivista uscirà il primo febbraio e può essere ordinata anche adesso sul sito, dove è disponibile un' anteprima di tutti i contenuti principali.

Io ho già potuto sbirciare un pò e sono rimasta colpita dallo stile pulito ed elegante delle spiegazioni. Non mi resta che aspettare di ricevere la mia copia per le scarpine Baby Janes da fare assolutamente per Cuore di Maglia, il cardigan Kate che mi piace proprio tanto ... e poi con la quantità di Aade Lõng Artistic che ho comprato non posso non buttarmi anche sulla giacca Rosepole per avere senza fatica un bellissimo effetto Fair Isle!

Uscire di casa con questo gelo? Per fortuna ce l'abbiamo fatta, non ci siamo fatti scoraggiare dalle portiere bloccate dell'auto, abbiamo scaldato le serrature con l'accendino, il motore della panda è partito e via!
What? Going out with this icy weather? We did it, we were not discouraged finding the doors of our car blocked. We simply used a lighter to warm them and then we gave full power to the engine, then go!

Sono stata felice di ritrovarvi in questo primo incontro del 2009, credo che ne combineremo delle belle ed avremo anche delle piacevolissime sorprese. Azzuka quando torni?

Stella di Natale

Francesca che ho conosciuto a casa de' Pepi a Firenze mi aveva chiesto di fare un cappellino ed un gilet per la sua piccola principessa. Appena possibile mi sono messa al lavoro e in realtà ho fatto tre cappelli: uno troppo grande, uno troppo piccolo ... il terzo finalmente giusto. Il gilet non ha avuto intoppi e così ho mantenuto la promessa e sono riuscita a spedirle il pacchetto entro Natale! La gioia della bimba è stata una enorme soddisfazione!

Francesca, whom I met in Florence, asked me to knit a hat and a vest for her little princess. I started to knit as soon as possible and I actually knitted three hats: the first was too big, the second too small, at last the third was the right size! Luckily the vest run quickly to the end and so I kept my promise and I shipped the package before Christmas! The happiness showed by the little girl was a great satisfaction for me!
