Zarina e crosspatch junior

Ho trascurato di aggiornare il blog con gli ultimi lavori già conclusi, ma non vorrei iniziarne altri senza aver reso pubblica testimonianza di quanto già fatto... Tempo fa avevo iniziato un lavoretto top-down da portare al primo Stitch'n'Bitch del Lingotto, ho fotografato le fasi intermedie sperando di mostrarle un pò alla volta, senza trovere mai il tempo per farlo. Meglio così, il resoconto finale è più sintetico ed efficace! Per il cappottino da "Zarina" mi sono ispirata a questo modello di Wendy Bernard, usando i ferri 6 mm ed un filato completamente diverso: il sofficissimo Snow della manifattura Sesia (92% lana, 8% acrilico). Il berretto invece è un adattamento del mio favorito Crosspatch di Elizabeth Morrison.

I neglected to update this blog with my latest Finished Objects, and I wouldn't start writing about other projects without relating about the things I already finished ... Some time ago I cast on for a quick top-down knit to show during my first Stitch'n'Bitch at Lingotto, I took even some photos during the knitting stages because I meant to show the work in progress, but I never succeeded in doing so! It's better this way, my report will be shorter and more effective! The "Czarina style" coat was inspired by this pattern by Wendy Bernard, although I used different needles (6mm) and this yarn: the softest Snow by manifattura Sesia (92% wool, 8% acrylic). Hat is a free variation of my favourite Crosspatch byElizabeth Morrison.
