Still #sherlocked, ovvero l’appeal della tappezzeria secondo episodio

Secondo progetto ispirato dalla tappezzeria dello studio di Sherlock Holmes.I guanti per Sabrina sono un adattamento da “The Game Is On” di Professor Fonz. In attesa dei nuovi episodi della serie, ci consoliamo rivedendo quelli vecchi in lingua originale, e studiamo nuovi casi….o pattern!

These fingerless mittens, made for Sabrina, are our second sherlock inspired project. I made some mods to the original “The Game Is On” by Professor Fonz. While waiting for the new episodes of the series, we have fun watching the old ones in the original language, and studying new cases ... .or patterns!

Anche stavolta sono riuscita a fare prima lo sprone fair isle e poi a rigirare il maglione top-down come piace a me.. Però ora tutto il divertimento è finito, e non mi rimane che la parte più noiosa… e vorrei vedere più prugna e meno grigio. Cercherò di concludere per il suo compleanno! 

And now only dull knitting is left! I managed to work bottom-up the fair-isle yoke and then turn the knitting top-down as I’m used to. I love the colour choice but I’d like to see more plum…  I hope I’ll be through for her birthday!

L’appeal della tappezzeria

Ogni età ha il suo eroe. Passata ormai la stagione del maghetto, arriva quella del geniaccio sociopatico. E se mai fino a ieri mi sarebbe passato per la mente di trovare interessante questa vistosa e funerea tappezzeria, da adesso devo ammettere che ha un suo perchè, o mi sbaglio?

Non importa! La mia Sherlockiana figliola condivide l'assunto che oggigiorno "Brainy is the new sexy"! Allora, in venerazione di tutto quello che ricorda il personaggio di Conan Doyle ed il suo più famoso interprete, ben vengano questi enormi fiori sul cardigan che le sto confezionando. #Scherlocklives Cardi

Per me è un bel divertimento e spero in un lieto fine a breve!

Every age has its own hero. Just passed the season of the boy wizard, here comes the one of the sociopathic genius. If until yesterday it would have never crossed my mind to find this eye-catching and funereal upholstery interesting, now I have to admit that it's somehow worthy, or am I wrong?
It does not matter! My Sherlockian daughter shares the assumption that nowadays "Brainy is the new sexy"! Then, in veneration of all that is reminiscent of Conan Doyle's character and his most famous interpreter, we welcome these huge flowers on the cardigan that I'm knitting. #Scherlocklives Cardi
