Hat attacked!

I have just been killed by Alison’s “friendly fire” !! I wear the weapon and it fits me perfecty. Colour is different than I expected… it’s boudeaux, my favourite! … and the chocolate coins to pay the ferryman for my journey to the afterlife … I’ll share them with my collegues during coffee-break!

Sono morta, uccisa dal "fuoco amico" di Alison !! L'arma mi calza alla perfezione. Mi aspettavo un colore diverso ... ma è proprio il mio preferito!.... Le monete d'oro che servirebbero a pagare Caronte per traghettarmi nell'aldilà saranno divise con i colleghi durante la pausa caffè!

Oggi abbiamo conosciuto Adriana, Francesca, Ines e Natalie! I ferri tintinnano, le idee circolano e tutto va bene! Questa mattina ho lavorato (bugiarda! ho solo chiacchierato!) con loro ... nel pomeriggio invece ho sferruzzato con la compagnia virtuale di 353 altre magliste/i in giro per il mondo, dall'Australia all'Olanda), tutti impegnati sullo stesso modello: il "Binary Cable Hat".
Si tratta dell'arma segreta per il gioco "Hat attack": un cappello lavorato con trecce disposte in modo da rappresentare la sequenza delle cifre dallo 0 all'15 in binario ... Domani lo finirò e vi mostrerò le foto!

Today we met Adriana, Francesca, Ines and Natalie! Our needles keep on clinking, ideas are spreading, everything in getting on well! In the morning I knitted with them (liar! I did only chat!) ... in the afternoon I knitted with other 353 knitters around the world, (from Australia to Holland), the same pattern: the "Binary Cable Hat". It's the secret weapon to play "Hat attack" game. The hat has cable crosses placed so to represent the numbers from 0 to 15 in binary code.... Tomorrow it will be finished and I'll show you the pics!

Triangolo

Ecco il campo di battaglia, sono nel vertice del "triangolo della morte" .
Domani si gioca ad Hat Attack!...e c'è anche lo Stitch'n'Bitch al Lingotto!

Oggi mi sono lasciata catturare da un nuovo gioco, un duello ai ferri ... del tipo Sock wars!
Per fortuna l'arma letale non è data da calze, ma cappelli!

Intanto cerco informazioni sulle passate Sock wars...

Today a new game has caught me, a knitting duel ... kind of Sock wars!
Luckily the deathly weapons aren't socks, but hats!
I don't know much yet, but if you are curious search Hat Attack! in Ravelry or go to hatattack group in Yahoo.
In the meantime I'm looking for more informations about past Sock wars...
