Maybe it's not by chance that we met again after two years. We're telling ourselves the old excuse (facciamo la maglia insieme, amica mia) but the truth is we want to win against the thousands miles that divide us and cross our paths once more. This time Kathryn comes from Nice, right behind the corner, and she's with her niece McKenzie.
My living-romm is tidy...but ... our city drawing room Palazzo Madama , where now I feel at home, will be much better. It's a great chance we have so I'm glad to have with me my mum, the girls and Ursula, who shared everything we did on the knitting front since that day in October 2007.

I'm proud and shy at the same time thinking that this strong thread didn't break and keeps on weaving across the ocean. Who knows, maybe out of this unexpected encounter between Kathryn, Enrica, the museum director, and Carlotta, the assistant curator, will spring up the project of the first knitted bridge linking Torino to Washington!

  2. I don't understand Italian, but I love to read it anyways before reading the English version. I love all things Italian. Praying I can set foot on Italian soil someday. La Bella Italia.
